Mr Bachchan aka Babban was good as a villain, but this job did not require his presence, could have been done by anyone with a simple training in acting.
Songs are not hummable at all, the Holi song, was a mess with Sushmita’s yellow kurta getting of and on couloured with red colour.
Mohan Lal, Ajay Devgan, Sushmita Sen - a waste of talent.
It seemed the Director was so much overwhelmed with Sholay that he missed the basics of direction. Taking nothing away from Mr Ram Gopal verma who we all know has given us great entertainers, through this film he has come across as a human being who is prone to making mistakes.
Even if a comparision is not made to the flim this movie is inspired from, the film does not stand of its own.
