The Baadshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has once again done justice to the 2 very different characters he plays, credit goes to the director, the script writer who have done well in carving the 2 characters who though are connected, yet seem to be completely different.
Farah Khan has mingled the hit formulae of rebirth, metaphysical world with the present-day technology, and the product that has come out of the Farah Khan imagination factory is - if not glorious - spell binding.
The computer technology we saw in the Hollywood's Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump, ten years back has been used in the song "Kaise naino se nain milaaun sajna... " Choreography is romantic not mushy, simple, and nostalgic.
Deepika Padukone has done well for her first performance, and the director has used her USPs - her Eyes and her Smile - very efficiently. Her eyes make you feel for her, they make you feel sad, they fill you with awe, and you also feel for the character.
Arjun Rampal - in a negative role, has fit the role to a T. He has been underestimated so far as his talent is concerned, however, Farah Khan has used his talent and what we see is a performance you would hate, not because it is pathetic performance, but because of the things it does to the characters in the film!!!!
Director Farah Khan has once again dished out her favourites. Though, unlike Main Hoo Na, this time the Menu of Favourites includes all time Hit Jokes, stories - so famous about our very own Bollywood- good as well as bad. It's a journey through the most happening times, the decade that saw the rise of super stars.
How many times have you seen people waiting till the credits are over... Well this is the film where you would wait to see even the credits... till the projector stops!!!!
The comedy, the sarcasm on our Bollywood industry is a bold attempt and Farah Khan has suceeded in it. She has mingled the story very well with the backdrop of Bollywood. In short!!!! Do watch it.. not a single moment where you would not like it.
